Arabica coffee futures are reaching dizzying new heights, with prices approaching the $4 per pound mark. This surge is driven by severe supply concerns, particularly in Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer. Recent reports indicate that up to 80% of Brazil's current arabica harvest has already been sold, leaving little supply for new trades. The tight global market is further exacerbated by production issues in other major coffee-growing nations. As a result, coffee futures on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) hit a record high of $3.6945 per pound, marking a staggering 15% increase this year alone.
