Devotees Flock to Shimla's Jakhu Temple for Hanuman Jayanti Festivities

Shimla's signature Jakhu Hanuman Temple experienced a deluge of devotees on Hanuman Jayanti, which was commemorated with tremendous enthusiasm on April 12, 2025. From morning hours, the devotees thronged the temple to worship Lord Hanuman, filling the day with traditional rituals, hawan, and recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa. The temple, bedecked with flowers and colorful decorations, was transformed into a symbol of devotion as the devotees engaged in offerings and prayers. The giant 108-foot-tall Hanuman statue was an epitome of religious faith that welcomed thousands in unison to celebrate the god's birthday in festivity and reverence.
