Dharmendra, Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’, Passes Away At 89

Bollywood is mourning the loss of Dharmendra, one of its most celebrated actors, who died at his Juhu residence in Mumbai. The actor had recently been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital after undergoing treatment for breathlessness earlier this month. Despite returning home, his health deteriorated, and he breathed his last surrounded by family. His passing comes only days before his milestone 90th birthday on December 8.  

Dharmendra’s career spanned over six decades, beginning with his debut in 1960’s Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere. He went on to star in classics such as Phool Aur Patthar, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Seeta Aur Geeta, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, and the evergreen Sholay. Known for his versatility, he excelled in action, comedy, and romance, earning the title of Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’.
