Dramatic Police Shootout Leads to Capture of Air India Murder Suspect in Noida

In a high-stakes encounter on Thursday, Noida police arrested Sikandar alias Satendra, a key suspect in the January 2024 murder of Air India crew member Suraj Maan. The dramatic arrest occurred after a chase and shootout in Sector-42, where the suspect, who carried a ₹25,000 bounty, was injured in retaliatory fire. Sikandar was one of three shooters involved in Maan's murder, which stemmed from a gang rivalry between jailed gangsters Pravesh Mann and Kapil Maan. Police recovered a pistol, cartridge, and a stolen motorcycle from his possession.
