Engineers India Ltd Secures ₹2.53 Billion EPCM Contract for NRL’s Paradip-Numaligarh Pipeline

Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has been awarded a ₹2.53 billion contract by Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) for EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) services linked to NRL’s refinery expansion project. The scope includes laying a 1,610-km crude pipeline from Paradip Port (Odisha) to Numaligarh (Assam), constructing storage tanks, and associated infrastructure to support the refinery’s capacity expansion from 3 MMTPA to 9 MMTPA. The project, part of NRL’s ₹28,000 crore expansion, is 65% complete and targets December 2025 for commissioning. EIL will oversee design, procurement, and construction, leveraging its expertise in cross-country pipelines.
