Flexible Workspace Sector in India Hits Record High in 2024

India's flexible workspace sector achieved a historic milestone in 2024, leasing a record 12.4 million square feet of office space. This represents a 57.7% increase from the previous year and accounts for 14% of total office leasing in India. Bengaluru led with 3.4 million square feet, followed by Delhi NCR and Mumbai. The IT-BPM sector dominated flex seat leasing at 48%. Experts attribute this growth to evolving business priorities, hybrid work models, and strong enterprise demand for managed office solutions. The sector is expected to maintain its growth trajectory in 2025 and beyond, reshaping India's commercial real estate landscape.
