Chinese automakers have 76% of EV sales worldwide based on strong production facilities, state-of-the-art technology, and official backing. It is propelling conventional players to hasten their EV drives. China's emphasis on plug-in hybrids coupled with strategic subsidy has become the gold standard elsewhere. Since EV sales in China are expected to outpace traditional car sales by 2025, the dominance of China in the EV market is set to continue.
