From Wheelchairs to Winners: Delhi's Grand Prix Promises Sporting Spectacle

India will create history with the first-ever World Para Athletics Grand Prix in New Delhi from March 11 to 13, 2025. The event will span three days at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, featuring over 90 competitions. This important tournament will see elite para athletes from 20 countries, including Germany, Japan, Australia, and Brazil. Distinguished guests will include Majid Rashid, the president of the Asian Paralympic Committee. This landmark will not only provide a monumental boost to India's track and field scene but will also reaffirm India's commitment to nurturing inclusivity and excellence within para sports. The Grand Prix is anticipated to inspire generations of athletes for the future and that India will gain a leap forward in para athletics so long awaited.
