Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna PSU, and CSIR–Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT), designated as the Centre of Excellence for Critical Minerals under the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM), formalized the agreement on March 30, 2026. The signing ceremony was attended by senior leadership from both institutions, underscoring the strategic importance of this partnership.
