Fusion or Confusion? Chef’s Gajar Ka Halwa Leaves Internet in Shock

Chef M Jenny Clinta recently shared a modern twist on gajar ka halwa, the traditional Indian dessert, presenting it as a palate cleanser in tiny petri dishes. Featured in her bakery's Instagram account, this audacious presentation involved boiling carrot slices and topping them with marshmallows and other garnishes. Yet, in this case, the combination attracted netizen criticism, who presupposed the slighting of the classic dessert. Comments ranged from technical critiques to expressing anger at altering famous recipes. The chef has, as yet, declined to respond to the emotive feedback.
