GAIL and Cummins Partner for Clean Energy Transition at IEW 2025

State-owned GAIL (India) Ltd and Accelera by Cummins have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding at India Energy Week 2025 in New Delhi to promote clean energy solutions. This partnership will focus on hydrogen production, blending, storage, and transportation, utilizing Accelera’s expertise in new energy technologies alongside GAIL’s extensive natural gas infrastructure. The collaboration supports GAIL’s ambitious “Net Zero” targets, which are now set for 2035.   GAIL has already taken significant steps in clean energy, including establishing a 10 MW Green Hydrogen unit in Madhya Pradesh and conducting successful hydrogen blending trials within its gas networks. This MoU represents a crucial advancement in the pursuit of India’s green energy objectives.
