Game On for CA September 2025: ICAI Raises the Compliance Bar

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the eligibility conditions for the candidates appearing for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams in September 2025. The notice mentions in-time registration, document verification, and compliances with the new course codes.

Foundation Course Requirements

Must be registered on NEWFND23 or CONFND23

Registration date: On or prior to May 1, 2025

Candidates must have appeared or cleared Class 12 from a recognized board

It is required to upload Class 12 admit card or marksheet on the Self Service Portal (SSP)

Intermediate Course Requirements

Must be studying NEWINT23 or CONINT23

It must be registered by January 1, 2025

At least 8 months of study prior to September 1, 2025

Group-wise registration must match intended exam appearance

Document & Portal Compliance

Valid SSP login credentials should be used

Latest photo and signature must be uploaded as per ICAI guidelines

Low-quality uploads may affect mark sheet printing

Those with older course codes need to convert through SSP (no fee is charged)

ICAI urges students to act in time to avoid last-minute hassles and ensure smooth processing of applications.
