Quarterly Performance and Market Reaction

- The company reported a nearly three-fold jump in net profit for the March quarter, reaching 186.49 crore rupees.

- Revenue surged to 1,173.65 crore rupees, up from 919.31 crore rupees a year earlier.

- For FY25, net profit grew by 235 percent to 608 crore rupees, while revenue increased by 35.5 percent to 4,292 crore rupees.

- Operating profit margin for Q4FY25 rose to 21.9 percent, compared to 12.1 percent in the same quarter last year.

Order Inflows and Growth Prospects

- The company secured 30 billion rupees worth of new orders in Q4, marking a 125 percent year-on-year increase.

- Total order backlog now stands at 127 billion rupees, nearly three times FY25 sales, ensuring revenue visibility for the next three to four years.

- The company’s export business has expanded significantly, now accounting for 30 percent of total revenue, up from 20 percent two years ago.

Brokerage Upgrades and Future Outlook

- Nomura raised its target price for GE Vernova T&D India to 2,600 rupees, maintaining a ‘Buy’ recommendation.

- Nuvama Institutional Equities increased its target price to 2,250 rupees per share, though the stock has already surpassed this level.

- Analysts highlight the company’s strong base order inflow growth of 20–25 percent per annum and its positioning in high-voltage and extra-high-voltage segments.

- The Central Electricity Authority’s planned investment of 9.15 trillion rupees in India’s transmission and distribution sector over FY22–32 is expected to benefit GE Vernova.
