German Experts Explore Andhra Pradesh's Revolutionary Natural Farming Techniques

A team of German experts is set to visit Andhra Pradesh to explore the state's innovative natural farming practices. This visit comes as part of a collaborative effort between India and Germany to promote sustainable agriculture. The German delegation will meet with farmer scientists and mentors who have been instrumental in adapting natural farming techniques to local conditions. Andhra Pradesh's Community Managed Natural Farming initiative, supported by a €90 million loan from KfW Development Bank, aims to transition 6 million farms to climate-resilient, chemical-free farming methods. This project not only enhances soil health and biodiversity but also improves the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
