Glenmark's ADHD Medication Recall: 1.5 Million Bottles Recalled from US Market

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc, USA is recalling about 1.5 million bottles of Atomoxetine Capsules, which is an orally administered drug employed in the management of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), from the US market. The recall started on January 29, 2025, because of N-Nitroso Atomoxetine impurity level above the level recommended by FDA. The impacted product, made in India, varies from 10 mg to 100 mg doses. The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has categorized this as a Class II recall, where there could be temporary or reversible adverse health effects medically.
