Global Classroom: IIT Hyderabad and German Universities Forge Path to Educational Excellence

In a bold step to boost academic connections between India and Germany, IIT Hyderabad rolled out the red carpet for representatives from 20 German universities today. This delegation, arranged by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), was on a mission to explore exciting opportunities for collaboration in areas like research, faculty and student exchanges, joint workshops, and dual degree programs. With DAAD General Secretary Dr. Kai Sicks and German Consul General Kathrin Misera-Lang leading the charge, the visit aimed to deepen partnerships with Indian higher education institutions. IIT Hyderabad's Director, Prof. B.S. Murty, highlighted how crucial this visit is for enhancing Indo-German cooperation in higher education and research. The conversations revolved around crafting solid plans for academic exchanges and joint research projects, signaling a fresh chapter in international academic collaboration for IIT Hyderabad.
