Global Travel Hit By Ongoing International Flight Cancellations

Global aviation faced another day of disruption on March 6 as international flight cancellations continued due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. IndiGo announced the cancellation of 112 flights, while Saudia extended suspensions to eight destinations. Airports in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore reported over 175 cancellations, affecting both arrivals and departures.  

Thousands of passengers remain stranded in Gulf countries including Dubai, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Air India resumed select flights from Jeddah and Oman, while Etihad restarted limited services from Abu Dhabi, offering partial relief. Analysts warn that disruptions may persist until regional tensions ease, keeping global travel under pressure and impacting both business and leisure travelers.
