Gokul Agro Resources has delivered a robust March quarter with strong profit growth and a fresh sustainability thrust, combining higher earnings, capacity expansion and a new solar power project at its Krishnapatnam plant to support long-term margins and ESG goals in the edible oil and agro commodities business.

The company reported healthy consolidated revenue and profit for Q4 FY26, supported by strong operating performance across its refining and trading operations. Alongside the results, the Board cleared a sizeable capex plan to expand refinery capacity and approved a captive solar project to cut power costs and enhance energy reliability.

Earnings Momentum In Q4 FY26

For the March 2026 quarter, consolidated revenue from operations stood at about Rs 62 billion, with profit after tax at approximately Rs 1.28 billion, translating into strong quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year earnings growth. The business benefited from higher throughput, better product mix and disciplined cost management across materials, logistics and finance costs.

Strategic Capex And Solar Project

The Board approved a capex outlay of Rs 430 crore to expand capacity across existing manufacturing units, adding roughly 2,600 tonnes per day to its current 5,650 tonnes per day edible oil refinery capacity over the next 12–18 months. It also cleared a Rs 12.5 crore solar power project of 3 MW AC or 4 MWp DC for captive use at the Krishnapatnam plant in Andhra Pradesh, designed to improve energy security, lower power costs and advance the company’s renewable energy and ESG roadmap.
