Gold Prices Dip Slightly on February 22, 2025: Check Your City's Rates

Gold prices saw a minor correction on February 22, 2025, offering a brief respite for potential buyers. The price of 24-carat gold stands at ₹87,700 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is trading at ₹80,200 per 10 grams, marking a decrease of ₹700 per 10 grams. Silver also experienced a slight dip, now priced at ₹1,00,300 per kg. In major cities, 22-carat gold rates are: Delhi (₹80,290), Chennai (₹80,240), Mumbai (₹80,240), and Kolkata (₹80,240). Despite the small decline, gold remains in high demand during the ongoing wedding season. Experts advise checking the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmark for gold purity when purchasing.
