Gold Prices Sparkle, Silver Loses Luster: What's Driving the Shift?

Indian gold prices registered a small rise today with 24-karat gold increasing by Rs 10 to Rs 87,990 for 10 grams. The rate of 22-karat gold also rose to Rs 80,650 per 10 grams. This small rise in gold prices is being reported while markets are still volatile and investors are worried over the impact of U.S. tariffs. In the meantime, silver prices suffered a slight decline, falling by Rs 100 to trade at Rs 97,900 per kilogram. The precious metals market is still being guided by movements in U.S. Treasury yields and the U.S. dollar. Analysts advise monitoring upcoming U.S. housing data and manufacturing PMI readings from major economies for further guidance.
