Green Revolution in Coal: SECL's Mega Projects Reshape India's Energy Landscape

Indian-based Coal India Limited's subsidiary South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) has successfully started operations for the new silos at Dipka Megaproject, Chhattisgarh. Commencing is a quantum leap towards achieving an eco-friendly way of coal evacuation. Dipka CHP-Silo FMC Project shall evacuate coal in an annual capacity of 25 million tonnes. SECL has initiated 17 First Mile Connectivity (FMC) projects with a total capacity of 233 MTPA. Nine projects with a capacity of 151 MTPA are already commissioned, while eight projects, having a capacity of 82 MTPA, are at different stages of execution, with completion targeted in the next 2-3 years.
