HAL, Bharat Dynamics Rise on Defence Council's $6.26 Billion Arms Plan

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) and Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) saw a surge in stock prices following the Defence Acquisition Council's approval for military purchases worth $6.26 billion. This move is part of India's efforts to bolster its armed forces with enhanced equipment, including engines for T-90 tanks and airborne warning systems for the Air Force. The robust defence pipeline, including recent AoNs for various projects, positions HAL and BDL for significant growth.
