Harvard's Tech Guru Unveils the Digital DNA of Future Education

Speaking at the India Today Conclave 2025, Bharat N Anand, Vice Provost for Advances in Learning at Harvard, shared that the technology-generative AI is handing a new face to the education domain. In fact, generative AI is reinventing the roles of teachers, students, and institutions with lightning speed. While AI boosts learning efficiency, Anand always believed that nothing can replace human connection and empathy in education. Students are using AI tools smartly already, surpassing any other age group in its adoption. Thus, the future of education is here-ramming AI for equality and democracy in providing quality education. However, there emerge interrogatives surrounding teaching empathy and how AI can improve education without compromising human interaction.
