This decision allows employees who are registered voters in Delhi to participate in the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections. The holiday extends to workers in factories, shops, and private establishments in Haryana who are eligible to vote in Delhi. This move aims to ensure maximum voter turnout and uphold democratic principles. The Delhi Assembly polls will be held on February 5, with vote counting scheduled for February 8.
