HDFC Bank Q4 Results: Profit Rises 9%, Loans And Deposits Surge

India’s largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank, released its Q4 FY26 results on April 18, 2026. Investors closely tracked the performance to gauge the bank’s growth trajectory during a period of geopolitical uncertainty and leadership transition.

Net Profit And Revenue

HDFC Bank posted a 9% YoY rise in net profit to ₹19,221 crore, supported by steady growth in net revenues. For the full year, profit after tax stood at ₹746.7 billion, up 10.9% compared to FY25. 

Loan And Deposit Growth

The bank reported 12.1% growth in loans and 14.4% growth in deposits during the March quarter, reflecting strong customer confidence and expansion in retail and corporate banking. 

Net Interest Income (NII)

Net Interest Income grew 3.8% YoY, highlighting stable margins despite rising global interest rate pressures. 

Dividend Declaration

The board declared a final dividend of ₹13 per share, bringing the total FY26 dividend to ₹15.50 per share, including an interim payout of ₹2.50 in August 2025.
