Historic US Military Deportation: 104 Indian Migrants Land in Amritsar

A US military C-17 aircraft landed at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar at 1:55 PM today, carrying 104 deported Indian nationals. The group includes 79 men, 25 women, and 13 children, with the youngest being four years old. The deportees originate from various states: 33 each from Haryana and Gujarat, 30 from Punjab, three each from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, and two from Chandigarh. This marks the first-ever military flight deportation to India under President Trump's renewed crackdown on illegal immigration, coinciding with Prime Minister Modi's upcoming visit to Washington next week.
