Hogwarts to Narnia: Kids Teleport Through Books on World Book Day

World Book Day 2025 comes alive today in schools in the UK and Ireland; excited children, in costumes of their favorite book characters - Paddington Bear to Harry Potter - fill up their classrooms with a variety of literary designs and characters. As it celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, the event showcases more creative costumes, including store-bought ones and handmade. Parents and teachers have praised the day since it is said to enliven the spirit of reading among the youth. The annual celebration also features activities and book-sharing sessions to underline the importance of this occasion, one that offers many schools wonderful opportunities to foster literacy.
