Exports jumped significantly, underscoring HMIL’s growing role as a critical manufacturing and export base serving over 80 countries.

Domestic sales remained resilient with 51,547 units sold, supported by strong demand for Hyundai’s popular portfolio including the Creta, Venue, and i20 models.

The export increase aligns with India’s push towards ‘Make in India’ and strengthening global supply chains.

Despite ongoing challenges in the domestic auto market, Hyundai maintained steady volumes, supported by new launches, festive season demand, and dealer incentives.

SUVs continued to dominate domestic sales mix, reflecting shifting consumer preferences towards utility vehicles.

HMIL’s Whole-time Director and COO, Tarun Garg, highlighted the company’s dual focus on expanding both domestic market share and export volumes as a strategic growth driver.

The company is enhancing production capacity at its Talegaon plant to meet demand and anticipated market recovery.

Over the first nine months of FY25-26, Hyundai’s cumulative exports reached nearly 1 lakh units, reflecting consistent export thrust.
