IKEA Enters North India with Online Delivery Launch in Delhi-NCR

IKEA, the Swedish furniture retailer, is entering North India by opening online delivery services in Delhi-NCR and nine satellite cities from March 1, 2025. This is a major milestone in IKEA's Indian journey, taking its home furnishing products to a huge new market. The orders will be shipped from a 1.5 lakh square feet warehouse in Gurugram, which is operated in collaboration with Rhenus Logistics. This is followed by opening of physical stores in Gurugram and Noida, where construction is already underway. IKEA looks to ship most orders within 24 hours, using cutting-edge supply chain technology. The expansion is aligned with IKEA's omnichannel strategy, with e-commerce generating 30% of its revenue in India.
