India 2.0: Fast, Fearless, and Ready to Lead the World – PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while speaking at the Rising Bharat Summit in New Delhi, announced that India is no longer regarded as a country of slow and steady growth but as a "fast and fearless" force in the international arena. Pointing to the country's astonishing economic progress, he said that India has doubled its economy in a decade and is set to become the third-largest economy of the world.

PM Modi attributed this change to bold reforms and the hopes of India's youth. He highlighted priority initiatives of the first 100 days of 2025, such as zero tax on income up to ₹12 lakh, a thousand new seats in medical colleges and IITs, and the setting up of Atal Tinkering Labs for promoting innovations. He also promised new doors to opportunities in the field of nuclear energy and social security for gig economy workers.

The Prime Minister highlighted India's resilience in the face of international challenges, mentioning successes such as satellite docking abilities, crossing 100 GW of solar power, and record coal production. Taking a dig at past governments for delays in infrastructure projects, he reaffirmed his government's intent to act fast, stating, "Delay is the enemy of development."

With unrelenting emphasis on youth-led development, PM Modi confirmed that India will keep moving irreversibly towards becoming a global powerhouse.
