India's Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has emphasized the country's intent to secure long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) contracts with the United States. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to meet President Donald Trump this week, energy cooperation is expected to be a key agenda item. India, already the fourth-largest LNG importer globally, aims to boost natural gas's share in its energy mix to 15% by 2030.
