India emerged as Dubai’s top source of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in 2024, contributing $3.018 billion—a fivefold increase from $589 million in 2023. This remarkable growth elevated India to the top investor spot by estimated capital, accounting for 21.5% of Dubai’s total FDI inflows, according to Dubai FDI Monitor. Indian investments focused on key sectors such as Business Services (26.9%), Software & IT Services (23.6%), and Real Estate, which dominated with a 51.4% share of capital. The number of Indian FDI projects also rose to 275, solidifying India’s position as a vital partner in Dubai’s economic development.
