India Shifts into High Gear: Electric Mobility Takes the Fast Lane

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has again asserted the government's emphasis on electric mobility by setting up foundations for four factories in Telangana. They are Amara Raja's Giga Factory, Lohum's refining unit for critical minerals, Scell Energy's cell casing factory, and Altmin's LFP-CAM Giga Factory. The move is meant to enhance EV manufacturing and infrastructure in line with India's drive for EV adoption. The move highlights the government's determination to enhance the electronics and EV manufacturing ecosystem.
