This follows a January 27 phone call where Modi congratulated President Donald Trump on his historic second term, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to deepening trade, defense, and Indo-Pacific security cooperation.
Key agenda items include resolving trade imbalances, advancing defense deals like India’s $4 billion Predator drone purchase, and addressing immigration reforms, including the return of 18,000 identified undocumented Indian migrants.
