Indian Oil Corporation, India’s largest state-owned refiner, has issued tenders seeking to procure up to 24 million barrels of crude oil from the Americas region for the March quarter of 2026. The bid includes varieties from the U.S., Brazil, and other American suppliers. This initiative reflects IOC’s continued effort to diversify its crude supply portfolio, reducing dependence on Middle Eastern and Russian oil sources amid shifting geopolitical tensions.
