Indian Swimmer Makes History: Prabhat Koli Clinches Bronze at World Ice Swimming Championship

Mumbai's Prabhat Koli has etched his name in the annals of Indian swimming history by securing a bronze medal at the 6th World Ice Swimming Championship 2025 in Molveno, Italy. The 25-year-old athlete, known for his remarkable achievements in open water swimming, including completing the grueling Oceans Seven challenge, has now conquered the icy waters of Molveno Lake. Koli's success marks India's first-ever medal in this extreme sport, where competitors swim in water temperatures below 5°C. This groundbreaking achievement comes after years of dedicated training and preparation, fulfilling Koli's long-standing goal of excelling in ice swimming on the world stage.
