Seoul, May 27, 2025 – In a major diplomatic overture, an all-party Indian Parliament delegation, comprising CPI(M) MP John Brittas, concluded a series of "productive" talks in South Korea, reaffirming India's zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and expressing grave concerns to the Korean leadership.

Unified National Front: The two-party delegation, which included ruling and opposition party members, presented India's political cohesion in the face of terrorism, particularly in the wake of the April 22 Pahalgam attack.

Operation Sindoor Explained: Indian MPs outlined the military operation "Operation Sindoor," initiated in retaliation against the Pahalgam terror attack, highlighting its specificity and restraint—striking terror infrastructure within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir without harming civilians.

India's Concerns Communicated: CPI(M) Politburo member John Brittas reinforced India's democratic, secular principles and underlined the imperative for the international community to distinguish India from Pakistan, which he characterized as a "theocratic state".
