India’s GCC Workforce Set To Surge To 3.46 Million By 2030 Amid AI Boom

India’s GCC sector is undergoing a dramatic transformation, fueled by the rapid integration of artificial intelligence across enterprise operations. According to the latest report by NLB Services titled “Workforce 2.0 Reset – India’s GCCs Go AI-Native,” the country’s GCC workforce is expected to grow from 2.16 million in 2025 to 3.46 million by 2030, adding 1.3 million new roles.

This growth is being propelled by the sector’s shift from AI pilot programs to full-scale implementation, with 58% of GCCs already moving beyond experimental stages. The report also highlights that nearly 70% of GCCs are investing in Generative AI, while over 60% plan to establish dedicated AI safety and governance teams by 2026.

• India’s GCC workforce will grow by 11% in 2026 alone, reaching 2.4 million professionals.
