India's Textile Revolution: PM Modi Sets Ambitious ₹9 Lakh Crore Export Target by 2030

At Bharat Tex 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed a vision that took bold strides for India's textile industry, tripling its exports by the year 2030 to ₹9 lakh crore. During the grand event held in New Delhi, Modi said the sector grew 7% in the past fiscal year, thus making India the sixth-largest textile exporter worldwide. Under these ambitious goals, there are "Five Fs", sustainable for further development - Farm to Fiber, Fiber to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign. Modi focused on sustainability, innovation, and potential growth opportunities in India's textile recycling market, estimated to grow to $400 million. With an increase in foreign investment and government support through PM MITRA Parks, the Indian textile industry is on a great path to global dominance.
