India's Young Elite Shift Gears: Luxury Car Sales Hit Top Speed!

India's young and wealthy are fueling a luxury car sales boom, with Lamborghini and Mercedes-Maybach posting record growth. Lamborghini delivered 113 units in 2024, a 10% boost, and is booked until 2027. Mercedes-Maybach saw a 145% boost, selling 500 units at more than $325,000. These manufacturers are growing their footprint in India, with Lamborghini looking at a fourth showroom and Mercedes-Maybach seeking to make India one of its top-five markets. Demand is fueled by young, high-net-worth individuals from successful family businesses and startups.
