Johnson & Johnson to Invest Over $55 Billion in U.S. Over Four Years

Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to invest more than $55 billion in the United States over the next four years. This investment represents a 25% increase from the previous four-year period and includes the construction of four new manufacturing facilities. The first facility, a $2 billion biologics plant in North Carolina, will create over 5,000 construction jobs and more than 500 permanent positions. The investment also focuses on research and development in areas like oncology and neuroscience. This move is expected to enhance J&J's U.S. economic impact, which is already estimated at over $100 billion annually.
