JSW Energy Hits High Note with Utkal Thermal Power Plant and Signing of PPA

JSW Energy Ltd has made key developments in its operations. The company has achieved the commercial operation date (COD) for Unit 2 of the Utkal Thermal Power Plant, which is an important milestone towards increasing its power generation capacity. JSW Energy has also entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) for its thermal power plant. This PPA provides a guaranteed revenue stream to JSW Energy and facilitates West Bengal's power requirements. These achievements highlight JSW Energy's focus on increasing its footprint in the Indian energy space and supporting the nation's increasing power requirements.
