JSW Energy will unveil its Vision 3.0, revising its 2030 generation capacity goal to 30 GW from the previous 20 GW—a sharp increase driven by strong demand and favorable policy climate. The company, which is already running 12.2 GW with 18 GW in the pipeline, will also increase capital expenditure above the ₹1.15 trillion planned in Vision 2.0. CEO Sharad Mahendra ratified that the organization remains committed to its B2B power generation path and has no imminent inorganic entry into B2C segments such as power distribution or EV charging on the horizon. The focus stays on executing large greenfield projects, a flagstone thermal project at West Bengal, for instance, and scaling up the renewable slate to touch two-thirds green energy by FY26.
