Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway to Cut Down Travel Time in 2025 to Half

The upcoming Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway which is about 63 kms in length, will change the dynamics of travelling between the two major Uttar Pradesh cities. This 8 lane wide access controlled expressway will save the current time of 1. 5 hours of commuters to approximately 45 minutes. Since June 2024, more than half of the construction work has been done and the project is expected to be completed by April 2025. The expressway will link Shaheed Path in Lucknow to Nawabganj in Kanpur which will improve the connectivity and boost up the economic development of the area.
