Karnataka Banks to Shut on March 22 for Fourth Saturday Holiday Amid Bandh Calls

Banks in Karnataka, including Bengaluru, will remain shut on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Although the shutdown is not specifically because of the Karnataka bandh organized by pro-Kannada groups, it is on the fourth Saturday of the month, which is a standard bank holiday. This implies that banking operations will be out of bounds for the public on the bandh day. Customers are requested to finish any pressing banking work by Friday, March 21. The closure will be applicable to all banks within the state, irrespective of their involvement in the bandh. Regular banking activity will resume on the next working day.
