Karnataka Mandates Contractual Dental Officers in 8 Govt Hospitals

The Karnataka government has instructed the recruitment of contractual dental officers in eight state-run hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka (ABArK) scheme. They are a single taluk hospital and seven community health centers at Mudhol, Mudalagi, Hulsoor, Tirumani, Guledagudda, Talikote, Almel, and Kodaikal. The government made the move to fill empty dental posts and enhance healthcare facilities. On a different front, scoliosis patients for spinal curvature illnesses will also be subsidized under the ABArK program with a package each procedure would cost Rs 1.5 lakh. These kinds of initiatives represent directions towards increasing medical access in all of Karnataka's rural areas.
