Legend Meets Talent: Kapil Dev Encourages Young Swimmers at ISSO Event

Adani International School in Ahmedabad saw history in the making with cricket icon Kapil Dev opening the International Schools Sports Organization (ISSO) Swimming Regional Championships. This was the first-ever ISSO regional championship to be held in Gujarat, where 115 young swimmers from the U9 and U11 categories of age groups represented seven international schools in the state.

The school was declared the overall champion, bagging a whopping 106 medals, of which 19 Gold in Individual events, 36 Gold in Relay races, 22 Silver in Individual events, 8 Silver in Relay races, and 21 Bronze medals. Kapil Dev appreciated the world-class sports facilities of the school and highlighted the need to groom young talent to create India's future sporting heroes.

Sergio Pawel, Principal of Adani International School, thanked Kapil Dev for his visit, pointing out his motivational interactions with students and parents. The event is in line with the Adani Group's vision to develop grassroots sports and offer students world-class sporting experiences.
