LIC’s New Power Duo: Vivek Paul and Govind Prasad Agarwal Take Charge

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced key leadership changes, elevating Vivek Paul and Govind Prasad Agarwal to senior management positions, effective April 9, 2025. These appointments underscore LIC's commitment to bolstering its leadership team across critical functions.

Vivek Paul has been appointed as Additional Director at the Management Development Centre in Mumbai. With 36 years of experience since joining LIC in 1989, Paul has held diverse roles, including Regional Manager (Pension & Group Schemes) in Delhi, and has demonstrated expertise in administrative functions and insurance marketing.

Govind Prasad Agarwal assumes the role of Additional Executive Director (Marketing/Product Development) at LIC’s Central Office in Mumbai. A veteran with 34 years of service, Agarwal previously served as Chief (Digital Marketing) and has extensive experience in insurance marketing and operational departments such as claims, policy servicing, and corporate communications.

These strategic promotions highlight LIC's focus on driving innovation and strengthening its marketing and development capabilities to meet evolving customer needs. Both leaders bring decades of industry expertise to their new roles, promising impactful contributions to LIC’s growth trajectory.
