Mumbai-headquartered engineering and infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a pivotal role in TenneT’s High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) offshore wind initiative, a flagship renewable energy program spanning the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea. In partnership with Hitachi Energy, L&T will deliver cutting-edge HVDC converter stations that will facilitate the integration of large-scale renewable energy into the European grid—marking a significant leap in L&T’s global offshore wind portfolio.
