Maha Kumbh 2025 Shatters Records: Over 50 Crore Devotees Take Holy Dip at Sangam

The Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj has witnessed an unprecedented turnout, with over 50 crore devotees taking a holy dip at the Sangam since January 13. This massive gathering has surpassed all projections, making it one of the largest religious events in history. On average, 1.44 crore pilgrims have bathed daily at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers. The event has attracted visitors from across the globe, including prominent figures and international delegations. With 12 days remaining, authorities expect the total number to exceed 55 crore, showcasing the enduring appeal of this ancient spiritual tradition.
